Intelligent Finance (IF) has unveiled a two-year discount which will replace its current three-month discount. It offers a discount of 0.46 per cent off the bank’s SVR (currently 5.95 per cent).
Compared to the previous deal the new two-year discounted mortgage saves the customer £568.41 on a £150,000 mortgage.
Wales leads UK house price inflation
The Principality Building Society quarterly house price survey shows house price inflation in Wales has moderated bringing 2004 to a close with an annual increase of 23.5 per cent - down from 31 per cent in the third quarter.
However, Welsh house prices have grown at approximately 10 per cent higher than the average UK price inflation for the year.
Correction
