Mortgage industry veteran Paul Brett (pictured) has launched BTS Consult and Coach, a new consultancy firm aiming to help businesses in the mortgage sector achieve growth and train their leaders.
In 2000, Brett played a pivotal role at mortgage packager Fastcom, guiding the startup to achieve a turnover of nearly £1 million within its first year. Years later, he was approached by the founders of Funding Circle to devise their intermediary distribution strategy. His involvement contributed to the company’s strong growth, culminating in a successful IPO in 2018, valued at £1.5 billion.
By early 2015, Brett further showcased his capability in accelerating business growth as a consultant for Foundation Home Loans, helping develop its product suite, launching the company website, and ensuring nationwide distribution. After a couple of years, he took on a key role at Landbay, leading the lender’s sales and distribution strategies.
Drawing on Brett’s extensive experience, BTS Consult and Coach offers bespoke services to the mortgage industry.
The consultancy, Brett said, will focus on enabling businesses and leaders to improve through strategic insights and progressive strategies.
