The business development team is responsible for helping intermediaries build the commercial mortgage business; they work with intermediaries to identify commercial mortgage opportunities and open the door into this lucrative market.
Mark Wilkins, director of sales at InterBay, commented: “Adding to our team of business development managers further strengthens the support we are able to give to UK intermediaries. We now have all key regions covered with 14 BDMs out on the road.

Appointments:
Nicola Masterson, business development manager for Essex & Suffolk.
Nicola previously worked for Scottish Widows Bank as a BDM for 3 years. Before that she worked with the Lloyds TSB Group for 13 years (10 years in branch, last seven as a mortgage adviser).
Masterson said: "I joined InterBay as I was looking for a fresh challenge and InterBay offer exciting new ideas in the commercial sector."
Sally Williamson, Business Development Manager for Northern Ireland.
Sally has been in the industry for the last nine years. She was a broker, a manager for the Woolwich and most recently, a business development consultant for Friends Provident.
Williamson said: "I’m excited to join InterBay. I’m looking forward to introducing their unique approach to commercial mortgages to the brokers of Northern Ireland."
Andy Jones, business development manager for Lancashire and Cheshire.
Jones has had various roles with TMB for the last five years; he was a business development consultant for the last year.
Jones said: "I saw this as a great opportunity to get into an expanding market with an 'easy to do business with' lender".
