Any broker who closes an InterBay mortgage within the next 12 months will qualify for free associate membership with the NACFB.
Anna Bennett, InterBay's marketing manager, said: "As a responsible lender and new lender patron of the NACFB, we fully endorse their code of practice. When a new broker registers with us we automatically check if they are registered with the Financial Services Authority (FSA) or a member of the NAFCB. If not, we encourage brokers to consider joining. By offering a free opportunity to join the association, we're supporting the brokers who support us and helping them grow their businesses."
Adam Tyler, associate director of the NACFB, said: "InterBay launched in the UK last month and has brought an exciting commercial mortgage programme to the market. I'm delighted that they've backed the NACFB so wholeheartedly and are actively encouraging unregulated brokers to join us and adopt our code of practice."
