The seminars are free and designed to provide advice to intermediaries in terms of increasing their commercial mortgage business. They offer insight into tried and tested methods for effectively targeting existing clients and generating new leads.
Anna Bennett, marketing director for InterBary Commercial, commented: “This education initiative needs no other endorsement than the continued positive feedback we receive from intermediaries and the remarkable number of attendees since the launch last year. Since August 2006, we have held 46 seminars with over 1,230 attendees and 100% of intermediaries have rated the programme as ‘valuable’.
“With the unpredictable current market climate, there is no better time for intermediaries to explore the potential of commercial mortgages. We are confident our 13 new nationwide business building seminars will provide the necessary tools and information to give intermediaries the best possible opportunity to expand their business portfolio and reap the rewards that the commercial market offers. Places, however, are limited, and with 660 already booked from September to December, we urge intermediaries to make the most of this opportunity sooner rather than later.”
Bennett concluded: “The fantastic thing about these interactive seminars is that they really do work in terms of delivering business – both for the intermediaries and for us. Over the last series on average 25% of intermediaries who attended a seminar consequently submitted enquires – either direct to us, or via our packaging partners. And for those enquires that complete, intermediary’s earned themselves a 2% proc fee in the process. This proves that with the right guidance, intermediaries have the capability to access the commercial market, sourcing and closing deals simply and quickly.”
