The new contract marks a change of plan for Ipswich who had previously intended to award their business to Yorkshire Key Services (YKS). The decision to renew with HML was taken by the Ipswich Board due to HML’s proven track record of delivery.
Steve Haggerty, Managing Director of HML, explains: “HML is very pleased to continue the relationship with Ipswich with this new long term contract. In the end, Ipswich has chosen to trust HML’s proven record of delivery over the 6 years of our relationship rather than relying on another supplier. This further demonstrates that HML continues to be the country’s leading provider of third party mortgage administration and bureau services and why we recently celebrated the milestone of £20 billion of mortgages under administration.”
John Whayman, Chief Executive and Director of the Ipswich, says: “We are extremely happy to extend our contract with HML due to the high level of commitment we have been given for the future. It is clear that proven delivery should be an essential component within any supplier selection process. HML has certainly demonstrated this to the Society through both the provision of bureau services and our third party administration contracts over the past 6 years”.
