Neale has worked as First Complete’s regional sales director for the midlands for the past five years, with the network replacing him with Martin Igoe.
In June The Mortgage Advice Bureau agreed a merger with That Mortgage Place, seeing MAB’s affordable housing business Sherwins combine with TMP to form the new group.
Neale has previously worked with TMP Sherwins managing director Kelly McCabe.
He said: “The affordable housing sector is crucially important to the overall UK housing market and will be for many more years to come. I am really looking forward to working with the TMP Sherwins team to provide an exceptional service to both our home buying clients and of course our valued Housing Association customers all over the UK.
“We will continue to evolve our service proposition and build on our position as the UK’s leading affordable housing mortgage broker which will create an exciting environment full of opportunities for our dedicated and talented team.
“We are also keen to engage with lenders with a view to bringing more funding to this established, credible and growing sector of the mortgage market.”
At First Complete Neal was responsible for the recruitment, management and performance of a large team of mortgage and protection advisers.
Prior to joining he was sales director at Infinity Mortgages, as he helped the specialist lender grow from a start-up to an established provider, providing £1bn of mortgage lending per year.
He has also held senior management and business development roles at Advantage Home Loans, GMAC RFC, Chesham Building Society and Cheltenham and Gloucester.
Kelly McCabe, managing director, of TMP Sherwins said: “Having worked with Jason for many years, I am delighted that he has made the move over to TMP Sherwins.
“He has already been a great contributor to the success of TMP and I am sure that he will only further enhance the team at TMP Sherwins.
“His dedication to his staff and his ‘can do’ attitude makes him the only person that I wanted in this role.”
Andy Frankish, new homes director at the Mortgage Advice Bureau added: “Creating a National Affordable Housing specialist broker has been a key part of our strategy over the last 18 months and we are delighted to help merge together these two excellent companies.
“We are very pleased that the business has attracted such a quality individual as Jason. He will be a massive asset to its entire staff and customers, driving forward quality and best advice.
“He brings with him a wealth of knowledge to move the business forward in the next few years.”
