JLM has committed to giving an additional 20% of the total funds raised by its network members at the end of the year.
JLM Mortgage Services has launched an initiative helping three different charities every year.
The ‘JLM Giving, One Team’ is a year-long pledge to help chosen charities, which this year are Shelter, Great Ormond Street Hospital and Cancer Research UK, through regular, voluntary contributions from network and staff members.
Rory Joseph (pictured, right), director of JLM Mortgage Services, said: “We know that many members of staff and our network members are already very active when it comes to charity fundraising however we felt that, via our combined efforts, JLM would be able to raise significant amounts each year for our chosen charities.
“We’re now planning our first events and looking forward to generating plenty of money for these very deserving charities.”
Sebastian Murphy (pictured, left), head of mortgage finance at JLM Mortgage Services, added: “This year we’ve chosen three charities close to all our hearts at JLM because of their work with the homeless, children and cancer.
“As a successful company in a professional industry we all believe at JLM that we should be supporting others less fortunate than ourselves.”
The network will do this via two channels, by asking all of those able to do so to give a regular contribution from their monthly income to go into the fund, as well as asking staff to take part in a series of fundraising events over the course of 12 months.
JLM has committed to giving an additional 20% of the total funds raised by its network members at the end of the year, with all money split evenly between all three charities.
