Fronted by a new website, the system allows brokers to go from product selection through to full application completely online.
The system also provides an online tracking tool so brokers can keep tabs on the status of their cases.
The online system and multi-channel distribution also provides a named case manager and underwriter, plus full telephone back-up.
A new development for many packagers now includes the ability to produce instant offers within their offices. In addition all Kensington packagers will have fees paid the day of completion.
Alison Hutchinson, managing director of Kensington Mortgages, said: “We have taken the time to make sure our multi-channel proposition is right and gives the market what it needs, and it recognises different intermediaries will want to deal with lenders in a variety of ways.”
Peter Bass, head of sales and marketing at Advantage, commented: “As a branded mortgage arranger, on-site offer production is key to us being able to maintain the consistently high service standards that brokers have become accustomed to.”
Kevin Morgan, managing director of Consilium Financial Planning, said: “Kensington seems ahead of the game and has taken account of the way the market seems to be going in terms of doing business.
“And if it does indeed provide a named case manager then that would be great. Plus if you can actually get through to them when you call, that would be fantastic.”
Kensington revealed it will also be extending its product portfolio next week by offering what it says will be ‘some of the most competitive deals in the market’.
