Kevin Jones has worked in the mortgage industry for 20 years most recently as owner and managing director of Omega.
This appointment follows news that InterBay has launched the first of a series of products aimed at the UK small balance commercial market.
Colin Bell, chief executive officer of InterBay Commercial, said Jones’ calibre and experience will play a major role in building and growing the business.
He said: “We want to ensure one of our key priorities is to maintain our excellent reputation with our key partners and continue to build relationships. I am confident Kevin will play a key part in taking this role and InterBay forward in the broker and small and medium enterprise market. He brings with him a great deal of experience of the commercial mortgage market as well as a great deal of respect from the broking community. Kevin is a name and a face that is very widely recognised and I am delighted to have him join us later this year.”
