Key appointments at Connect IFA, Pivot, and The Moving Portal

Several key leadership appointments have been announced across the mortgage and property finance industry, with Connect IFA, Pivot, and The Moving Portal each strengthening their teams to support growth and boost service offerings.

Connect IFA has made a series of strategic leadership changes aimed at expanding its adviser network and strengthening lender relationships.

Kevin Thomson (pictured above left) has been appointed corporate director, a newly created role focused on growing the appointed representative (AR) network while continuing to support existing ARs through the business’s field-based business relationship manager team.

Niall Hebron (pictured above centre) has been named sales director, overseeing internal advisers and specialist placement and packaging teams. In addition, Jane Benjamin (pictured above right), director of mortgages, will now lead all lender relationships, ensuring advisers have access to a broad range of lending solutions.

In the specialist lending sector, bridging and development finance lender Pivot has added Georgie Crocker (pictured immediately below) to its relationship management team.

Crocker, who has experience at Cohort Capital and Arc & Co., will focus on deal origination and broker and borrower relationships. Her expertise spans various asset classes, and she will play a key role in strengthening Pivot’s position as a development funding partner.

Meanwhile, surveying and valuation panel business The Moving Portal has appointed Mark Snape (pictured immediately below) as its first chief growth officer.

Snape, who has over 40 years of experience in the UK property, mortgage, and lending sectors, will be responsible for business expansion, working with introducing firms that use The Moving Portal for surveying and valuation services. He was previously chief executive of Conveyancing Alliance/Broker Conveyancing, where he doubled business levels and profitability in just over five years.

In his new role, he will collaborate with The Moving Portal’s business development, sales, and operations teams to drive growth and expand the firm’s reach.
