The Hub gives instant links to lender KFIs, dedicated phone lines and the Moneyfacts e-mail KFI request service. The e-mail request service enables brokers to automatically e-mail their KFI requirements to lenders who then send back the completed KFI via fax or e-mail.
The service gives intermediaries details of other services offered by lenders including online applications, online agreements-in-principle, online case tracking and downloadable application forms. It also has a commission comparison detailing fees paid by lenders, mortgage clubs and networks.
The Hub can be accessed through front-page menu options from both eMoneyfacts and Mortgage SearchScreen or from any mortgage data or sourcing page. Product information is pre-populated onto the lenders’ Hub page and e-mail form, allowing intermediaries to see which product they require a KFI for.
It can be accessed free by users of eMoneyfacts and Moneyfacts Mortgage SearchScreen.
Ben Thompson, sales and marketing director for Clear Cut Mortgages, said: “It is a welcome additional option. Services such as these can only be of benefit to the intermediary in the new era of regulation.”
Emma Butler, web editor at Moneyfacts, said: “The backbone of the Hub was provided by extensive research that we carried out. We found out that an increasing number of lenders are preferring intermediaries to go directly to them for KFIs so we developed the easy to use system specifically designed for the intermediary.”
