This will include a recruitment drive for staff based both in the company’s North London head office and in the South East region.
KGB’s managing director Rachel Bancroft, explained: “The vital distribution role of packagers is now widely acknowledged and, far from declining as had been forecast, many packagers are experiencing healthy growth. As a consequence of KGB’s own rapid business growth in the latter half of 2006, we now need more staff across all areas of the business, including experienced non-conforming underwriters and self-employed business development managers to cover Buckinghamshire, the South West, Kent and Sussex. In addition, we will be recruiting CEMAP-qualified mortgage consultants, a full-time compliance officer, and business consultants to work alongside KGB director Magnus Duke in the new business department helping to provide brokers with information to aid them in sourcing their deals.”
Factors contributing to KGB’s growth in 2006 include joining the Professional Mortgage Packagers Alliance (PMPA) earlier in the year; increasing its range of on-site lender underwriters; extending its offering to include 1st Source Direct mortgage club and a conveyancing service from Easier2Move.
