Knight Commercial Services Ltd has specialist divisions to handle mortgage packaging for first and second charge mortgages and commercial loans together with a division that deals with leads passed from agents with introducer-only status.
Lesley Munro has been appointed as managing director of Knight Commercial Services, from her previous role as general manager of Knight Funding, and Frances Scanlan, formerly CEO of Knight Funding, becomes chairman of the new limited company. Lesley joined Knight Funding as a BDM five years ago from C&G (where she had spent ten years, latterly as a branch manager) and she has held the position of general manager within Knight Funding for two years.
Frances Scanlan said: “As a result of regulation and business growth, it was not appropriate to continue with Knight Funding on a sole trader basis, and limited company status was considered the best route for the business to take. The restructure of the company now allows for growth into all our target business areas, and Lesley’s appointment as MD will help free me up to look more strategically at the direction of the business as we move forward. Lesley has a very clear understanding of our market sector and has been involved in all strategic decisions we have made to address regulation. It was therefore a natural progression for her to move from general manager to MD of the restructured business.”
