New manager has 12 years of experience in the buy-to-let sector
Buy-to-let lender Landbay has announced the appointment of Sam Waterhouse (pictured) as its new business development manager for the Midlands region.
Waterhouse joins Landbay with nearly 12 years of experience in the buy-to-let mortgage sector, previously serving as a mortgage underwriter at Paragon Banking Group.
The lender expects his knowledge of specialist underwriting to provide confidence to intermediaries as he moves into his new business development role.
At Landbay, Waterhouse will be responsible for managing and enhancing the BTL loan provider’s relationships with intermediaries and other significant partners in the Midlands to support the company’s ongoing growth.
“Landbay continues to go from strength to strength through our focus on brokers and their clients,” said Rob Stanton, sales and distribution director at Landbay. “We’re very pleased to welcome Sam, whose fantastic experience will further help consolidate and grow our position as the buy-to-let lender of choice.”
Commenting on his appointment, Waterhouse said he was excited to join Landbay, citing the lender’s reputation in the sector.
