LBG - which includes Halifax, BM Solutions and Scottish Widows - is the latest big name to sign up to the new mortgage club following the likes of Aldermore, Nationwide, TMW and Santander.
Phil Whitehouse, managing director of the MCI Mortgage Club, said: “This is great endorsement for our new mortgage club and for our clients, we wholeheartedly welcome The Lloyds Group to our lender panel.
“Since launching in November we have seen phenomenal success, with some of the industry’s biggest names showing their support for the club.
“We are in talks with several more major lenders to add to our panel. Next year promises to be very exciting for MCI Club as we grow our lender panel and offer innovative technology solutions to customers and lenders alike.
“We have also launched a comprehensive Life Assurance panel and offer our members benefits other clubs would find difficult to deliver.”
The MCI Mortgage Club is open exclusively to intermediaries who use the software solutions of parent company Mortgage Keeper, part of The eKeeper Group of companies.
Other lenders to sign up to the club’s panel so far include Precise Mortgages, Leeds Building Society and Skipton Building Society.
