It is also launching versions of this product with a 2.49% discount up to 80% LTV (currently 3.20%) and with a 1.84% discount up to 85% LTV (currently 3.85%). The product allows clients the flexibility of 10% capital repayments each year and has no higher lending charge and a £199 booking fee.
A new fees assisted 2-year discount mortgage is also being launched at 3.34% available up to 75% LTV – a discount of 2.35% off the Society’s SVR. Versions of this product are available with a 1.99% discount up to 80% LTV (currently 3.70%) and with a 1.34% discount up to 85% LTV (currently 4.35%).
There is no higher lending charge and a booking fee of £199 and clients are eligible for a free standard valuation up to £335 and free in-house legal services for standard re-mortgages.

The mutual is also extending its buy-to-let range and has launched a 2-year discount buy-to-let deal at 4.44% available up to 70% LTV. This flat fee product also allows the flexibility of 10% capital repayments each year, without penalty.
Coombes added: "This buy-to-let option has been specifically designed to offer landlords greater choice and flexibility."
