The move follows a successful six-month pilot with its network and mortgage club members.
Dev Malle, group sales director at myhomemove, said: “To bring the UK’s largest conveyancer and the largest mortgage distributor together with a unique proposition is incredibly exciting.
“We have worked hard with L&G to understand their members and, most importantly from their perspective, customer needs. Our award-winning service and technological solution can dovetail to provide a powerful proposition. The feedback from the pilot is extremely positive and confirms the value it has added to advisers and their clients.”
Jeremy Duncombe, director, Legal & General Mortgage Club, added: “We have worked closely with myhomemove to create a product which provides our members with great service, ease of use, and our unique payment on exchange facility. By piloting this extensively over the last six months, we are confident that both the customer and the broker will benefit from a quick and efficient service.”
A feature of the service is payment to the broker on exchange of contracts, which is offered as part of Legal & General’s mortgage club procuration fee proposition.
Legal & General Conveyancing will use myhomemove’s online case-management service, eWay, allowing clients to manage their cases 24/7, via a smartphone, tablet or PC.
Legal and General Conveyancing Services will also provide a panel proposition for London-based customers.
The pilot scheme was trialled by Charles Cameron & Associates and Alexander Hall Associates.
Dominic Scott, director of Alexander Hall Associates, said: “L&G Conveyancing delivered on all the promises made from the outset. Leads referred were suitably and consistently followed up in a manner which satisfied AHA’s approach to TCF. The helpfulness of myhomemove’s sales team also ensured that establishing and maintaining the relationship was trouble-free.”
And Simon Nimmo, managing director of Charles Cameron & Associates, added: “I have been enormously impressed with the service our clients have received since the launch of the new conveyancing service.
“I must admit that we were all slightly cynical that our clients would receive a first class service for the competitive prices being quoted, but am pleased to say that both ourselves and our clients so far have been thrilled.
“I would have no hesitation in endorsing the offering and, as everyone these days is looking for value for money, it makes it a very easy service to refer.”
