The Derby-based online business is gearing up for anticipated annual growth of more than 200% in 2014.
Joining are Birmingham specialist, Davisons, Martin Tolhurst from Kent, Martin Kaye of Telford, PLS from Altringham and Stephensons in the North West.
Kevin Tunnicliffe, managing director, said: “We are naturally delighted to be able to welcome five legal firms into the SortRefer fold that have such outstanding conveyancing pedigrees.
“The new firms are well-known to us and have a proven track record in delivering high quality work on time and to budget.
“They have excellent reputations in the market and will complement our existing panel members, all of whom are among the top 30 firms in the UK who specialise in conveyancing.”
Martin Kaye, PLS and Stephensons will cater for the sale, purchase and remortgage needs of mortgage brokers and financial advisers, while Davisons and Martin Tolhurst will initially focus on sale and purchase transactions.
Alliances with other large networks are currently in negotiation.
It was stated that SortRefer’s recent tie-up with Mortgage Advice Bureau has made expansion necessary.
Tunnicliffe added: “As we grow, we will be providing large numbers of cases to each of our panel members, so they need to have tried and tested infrastructures capable of meeting demand.
“I’m delighted to say that all five firms who have recently joined us exceed our expectations in this regard.”
