Payne was the former head of corporate accounts at Halifax. In his new position, he will report to Guy Batchelor, executive director of sales and marketing and will join the company in August.
Commenting on Ed Payne’s appointment, Batchelor said: “The secured loans market is an important part of our multi-brand strategy and I am pleased to be adding to the SPPL team with Ed’s appointment. He has invaluable experience in the lending arena and will strengthen our proposition as we continue to develop innovative and competitive products alongside the highest levels of service and commitment to packagers.”
