LendInvest Mortgages has appointed four new field business development managers (BDMs) to enhance its origination efforts and support its growth strategy across the UK.
The new hires’ extensive experience and industry expertise are expected to significantly bolster LendInvest’s market presence nationwide.
Lois Ashcroft (pictured far left), who will cover the South West and South Wales, joins from Pepper Money UK, where she was the regional development manager for the South West. Ashcroft has over five years of experience in business development and mortgage advisory roles, having previously worked at Principality Building Society as a mortgage underwriter and customer consultant.
Ed Appleby (pictured second from left), who will oversee the North East and Yorkshire, comes from Penrith Building Society, where he served as head of products and distribution. His career includes roles such as head of intermediary and business development manager, bringing expertise in product development, distribution, and market growth strategies.
Rod McPherson (pictured second from right), who will manage Scotland, joins from Atom bank, where he spent over seven years as a regional business development manager. McPherson’s experience includes positions at First Mortgage and Halifax, highlighting his deep industry knowledge and customer-centric approach.
James Hamblin (pictured far right) will cover the South East. He has a background in business development, most recently with KSEYE as a business development manager. His career includes significant tenures at Step One Finance, Enterprise Finance, and NatWest, where he managed large portfolios and developed key broker relationships.
