New manager follows the addition of 14 members to its distribution team staff
Legal & General Mortgage Services has appointed Jane Simpson (pictured) as its new strategic relationship manager.
Simpson brings nearly two decades of mortgage industry experience to the role, having previously served as national account manager at Paragon Banking Group and managing director of The Business Mortgage Company.
In her new role, Simpson will focus on strengthening Legal & General’s ties with its lender portfolio, supporting the mortgage club, surveying services, and technology sectors of the business. Her responsibilities include enhancing lender relationships and providing technical support and guidance to help both lenders and brokers progress.
This appointment is part of Legal & General Mortgage Services’ recent expansion efforts, which saw the addition of 14 new members to its team, including the appointment of Greg Cunnington as co-head of strategic accounts.
“Jane’s extensive skills and experience align perfectly with Legal & General Mortgage Services’ values and ambitions,” said Clare Beardmore, director of distribution and mortgage club at Legal & General Mortgage Services. “We’re looking forward to seeing the positive impact they will have on our ongoing evolution.
“We believe in fostering a collaborative culture that prioritises innovation and growth, and our recent, extensive investment in our team is testament to this. And although Jane brings almost two decades of experience in the industry from roles at a variety of specialist and mainstream lenders, she is also a brilliant people person, and has the skills needed to take the team to new heights.”
Simpson, named one of the Elite Women 2023 by Mortgage Introducer, expressed enthusiasm about her new position, citing Legal & General Mortgage Services’ vision and commitment to excellence.
“I am confident that I can add significant value to the team through my experience working with various lenders,” she said. “I look forward to advancing the team’s admirable mission and objectives.”
