James Ginley FRICS will take the position with immediate effect.
Legal & General Surveying Services (LGSS) has appointed James Ginley FRICS (pictured) as its new technical director with immediate effect.
Ginley joined LGSS in January 2013 as head of risk, and has been actively involved in industry forums and was awarded RICS Residential Young Surveyor of the year in 2015.
He was recently the lead author of the RICS Flooding Information Paper and RICS Complaints handling guidance for firms.
Kevin Webb, newly appointed managing director of LGSS, said: “James epitomises the depth and breadth of knowledge we have in LGSS.
“He has been instrumental in developing his team’s experience and expertise to allow the business to offer a unique opportunity to clients in helping shape policies to meet the opportunities and challenges of lending."
