The new service means that all registered advisers will be able to track the progress of all their clients applications placed with; Bright Grey, BUPA, Friends Provident, Legal & General, Norwich Union, Scottish Equitable, Scottish Provident, Scottish Widows, Standard Life and Prudential in one place 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Once logged into the new service, advisers have the option of viewing an ‘at a glance’ listing showing all ‘live’ cases, confirming policy details and any outstanding items required by the provider; or a ‘detailed case notes’ section allowing advisers to view:
- Client contact details
- The premium quoted
- Current state of play - again confirming outstanding requirements
- The date the policy was accepted
- The premium accepted
- Details of any notified risk date
- Commission details including amounts due (and received)
They will also be able to view a full case history detailing all events from receipt of the application by LifeQuote through to policy issue. In the near future advisers will also be able to view a scanned image of the original proposal. All information is held in a secure environment and is protected through state of the art encryption methods.
The service was developed in response to research by LifeQuote into the needs of busy advisers. Instant access to up-to-date high quality information across all providers through one source was a constant theme amongst respondents.
Richard Verdin Sales & Marketing Director commented “Our business is all about serving the needs of busy advisers and making ‘life’ as simple for them as we can. This is yet another industry first from LifeQuote, our service is available today when others are still only talking about the possibilities”.
