Over £40,000 in total has already been donated to 25 different hospices across the UK
Mortgage broker and financial adviser Lifetime has announced its 2021 charity partners; Children with Cancer UK and the Stroke Association UK.
Over £40,000 in total has already been donated to 25 different hospices across the UK, thanks to donations being made via the Lifetime client referral scheme. Now the innovative scheme will provide a £150 donation to either a hospice, Children with Cancer UK or the Stroke Association UK when a current client introduces someone they know to Lifetime.
In an economically turbulent year thanks to the pandemic, Lifetime still managed to secure almost £2,000 in donations. Next year, the business is aiming to build on this and add a further £8,000.
Clients will have the option of choosing where their referral donation will go – whether it be to Children with Cancer UK, the Stroke Association UK, or to a local hospice.
The charities are chosen because they are particularly close to the hearts of the staff and clients of the mortgage broker and financial adviser.
Ian Dickinson (pictured), managing director, Lifetime, said: “The foundation of our business has always been the relationships we have had with our clients, many of whom go on to refer their friends or family to us.
"We simply wanted to say thank you, and offer them a way of giving something back. When one of our loyal clients introduces us to someone new, and that person goes on to take financial advice from us, then we will donate £150 to one of our three charity partners.”
