Highlights of the results include turnover up by 36 per cent to £12.9 million; gross profit up by 112 per cent to £3.3 million; group operating loss (before exceptional item, depreciation and amortisation of goodwill) £0.9 million (2003: £0.8m).
It has also recruited of 34 advisers formerly authorised by Broadstone (IFA) Limited.
Chairman David Hickey said: "These results demonstrate further progress by Lighthouse, with turnover and gross profit both showing substantial growth during the six months. While losses were recorded at the EBITDA and pre-tax levels for the interim period, I am pleased to say that, since 30 June 2004, Lighthouse has been modestly profitable at the EBITDA level, and accordingly the Board looks forward to further progress during the second half of the year."
