Phoebus is a systems developer for the financial services industry with a client list that includes Link Lending’s associated residential lender, Money Partners, along with igroup, GE Money and Heritable Bank. Phoebus Software has produced a bespoke version of its software suitable for Link Lending’s bridging loan process and further developments including online case tracking, decisions in principle, and KFIs are in the pipeline.
John Maclean, managing director of Link Lending, said: “We are among the first few bridging lenders to adopt a fully automated online approach and we believe that it will offer the time and cost saving benefits to bridging loan introducers that they have come to expect from lenders supplying long term mortgage loans. Link Lending’s approach is to use its staff to add value by person to person contact with brokers, rather than being tied up in loan administration that can be automated. In the bridging loan market more than any other, service is key. It’s not just about speed but about keeping people informed and making promises you can keep, The Phoebus platform will allow us to achieve our very ambitious growth plans more effectively, while freeing up experienced broker-facing staff to deliver on service.”
