It promotes a sales member to business development manager
Specialist lender LiveMore has announced that it is expanding its sales and broker support to meet the growing demand for interest-only mortgages in the 50-plus age group.
Margarita Genovesa (pictured), who has been an integral member of its sales team since December 2020, now takes up the position of business development manager for the London Region.
Having worked within the financial services industry for over 30 years, Genovesa brings a wealth of experience to the lender’s business development team. Her previous roles include mortgage adviser and branch manager at Santander, operations manager for John Charcol, and business development manager at Sainsbury’s Bank.
Approaching its second year in business, the London-based lender continues its growth, having recently opened a new office in Bristol and expanded its lending into Scotland.
LiveMore said the expansion of its business development team is the next phase of its evolution.
Commenting on her appointment, Genovesa said she was looking forward to the new role and being able to meet more brokers from the London area.
“It’s an exciting time for us as we have so many developments in our offering to make it easier for brokers’ customers aged 50 to 90+ to enjoy their later life,” she added.
Alison Pallett, managing director of sales at LiveMore, believes that Genovesa’s experience and knowledge of the sector will help the lender to widen its reach within the underserved market.
“Her promotion is a natural and well-deserved progression within the team,” she said. “By increasing our business development team, it will help us on our mission to revolutionise the later life lending market.”
