Financial Services Scotland, now in its second year, included up to 100 exhibitors covering investments, pensions, mortgages, protection and technology.
Speaking about the exhibition, Andy Moody, managing director of Loanoptions.co.uk, commented: "We are really glad we came. This is the first time we have exhibited in Scotland and we were staggered by how many intermediaries did not think that we operated north of the border, which of course we do. We were busy all through the day and there was a great deal of interest in our services, not just from Scottish intermediaries but also from a fairly large number who had made the trip from Northern Ireland."
Loanoptions.co.uk moved to new offices in December in Wilmslow, Cheshire and is well placed to make more of its presence in the Scottish market.
Moody added: "We are recruiting business development managers across the UK and we will be stepping up our recruitment to ensure that we have a really active interest in Scotland. Clarion Events are to be congratulated on making it such an important date in the calendar and we will definitely be back next year."
