Alderton will replace David Brown in the role, who was formerly managing director of LSL CCD alongside being commercial director of LSL Property Services. Brown will retain his position as commercial director for the LSL group.
Alderton has worked in the property industry for 28 years. Previously divisional sales director for Your Move until 2001 when he was tasked with developing the LSL group call centre. From 2003 he managed Your Move’s conveyancing panel and in late 2007, Alderton oversaw the creation of LSL CCD.
LSL CCD provides asset management and lettings property portfolio management services to corporate clients.
Brown, commercial director of LSL Property Services, said: "It's a real pleasure to announce Martyn’s promotion to managing director. He has been a key part of the successful growth of LSL CCD over the past four years.
“In his new role, Martyn’s expertise and attitude stand him in excellent stead to oversee the ongoing expansion of the department and to continue to raise the bar for the standard of asset management services in the industry."
