Chris McNab, head of protection propositions at LV=, said: “We know that in today’s frantic world, people can sometimes struggle to get the guidance they need on everyday medical issues.
“So we’re very excited to be partnering with Square Health to provide our protection customers with convenient access to qualified UK doctors and specialists, at no added cost.
“At LV=, we believe that protection policies should offer more than a financial benefit - they should also provide support, reassurance and value to customers throughout the life of their policy.
“We already provide our protection customers with access to legal professionals, counsellors and nurses through our member care line, so LV= Doctor Services feels like a natural and beneficial extension to our offering.”
To use the service customers need to download the app on their smartphone or call Square Health directly.
Appointments are available between 8am-7pm Monday to Friday and 9am-1pm on Saturdays.
Bippon Vinayak, chief executive of Square Health, said: “We’re delighted to partner with LV=.
“We share their passion for customer service, and the medical services offered by Square Health will help to extend the support LV= can provide to their members in times of need.
“We see this partnership as the beginning of a journey in which we will be able to help more people lead a healthier life and provide a trusted source of healthcare advice whatever their medical concern and wherever they are in the world.”
