LV= has appointed a technical claims manager in Andy Parker.

Parker has joined from AXA Global Life where he was senior underwriter, based in Paris.
Before that he spent 22 years with Britannic Assurance where he focused on managing the new business, underwriting and technical claims team.

In 2015 LV= paid out the equivalent of £1m a week in claims.
