This is in response to the FSA issuing a clear directive that Directly Authorised firms will be expected to achieve certain standards within this area in order to continue to provide a quality service to their clients.
In accordance with this, m2i have arranged a number of workshops across the UK, to provide their members with guidanceon how tomeet the required standards of Training & Competency. Thesefree, small, interactive workshops will be conducted by David Payne, Director of Complianceand representatives from his team.
The topics covered by these workshops will be:
- Regulatory Reporting (RMAR)
- Suitability
- Insurance – Demands & Needs
- Financial Promotions
- Training & Competency
Steve Butler, Head of m2i commented: “Each workshop will be a day longand there will be no more than approximately 15 members at each event. This is to ensure that we will be able to offer more of a one to one situation, and a great opportunity for members to speak to the team directly on a variety of topics. Members will also have the chance to meet up with fellow m2i members who they met at the induction courses held last year. We actively encourage a feeling of community amongst our members as it is important to us that they feel part of a team. It is imperative that we continue to provide our members with ongoing value and support. m2i is most definitely going from strength to strength.”
The events are being supported by a variety of lenders and business partners including:
Standard Life Bank

Royal Bank of Scotland
