Reinforced line-up expected to support strategic partners' growth plans
Mortgage intermediary brand and specialist network Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB) has bolstered its support structure with several key appointments within its sales team.
Rupert Swetman (pictured left) has been promoted to the new role of partnership sales director.
Swetman, who joined MAB as a partnership sales manager nearly a year ago, brings over 25 years of experience in managing large-scale broker businesses.
In his new role, Swetman will build a specialist team of business consultants. He has already appointed Kiah Foster (pictured centre) and Ben Leach (pictured right) as partnership managers.
Foster joins MAB after seven years with its Australian division, while Leach brings 16 years of leadership experience from Nationwide, where he focused on optimising customer and employee journeys, driving efficiencies, and enhancing operational performance.
The team also includes Francesca James, partnership telephone account manager, who will continue to link the team to MAB’s strategic partners.
Despite an industry-wide slowdown, MAB – one of the UK’s top mortgage intermediaries – increased its market share in the first quarter of 2024, and the key appointments in its sales team are expected to support strategic partners in achieving their business strategies and growth objectives.
“Following a successful start to 2024 and continued business growth, we’re delighted to have promoted Rupert to partnership sales director, and welcome Kiah and Ben on board in their respective roles,” said Peter Brodnicki, chief executive of Mortgage Advice Bureau.
“As we strive to continually improve and grow, we have to bring the very best industry talent into MAB, which is exactly what we’ve been doing right across the business. I look forward to seeing what this exciting new team can achieve.”
