The deal includes a six month period where MAB members will use the Propsepector sourcing software exclusively.
Peter Brodnicki, managing director of Mortgage Advice Bureau, said: “Mortgage Advice Bureau are pleased to have renewed our long-standing arrangements with TrigoldCrystal, particularly now that we have joined forces with Mortgage Talk, who have also used TrigoldCrystal exclusively for many years.”
Jon Whitmore, chief executive officer of TrigoldCrystal, added: "Mortgage Advice Bureau network is well-known and highly respected and we are very pleased to enter this long term agreement to provide them with our highly acclaimed sourcing system to meet the needs of their members and assist MAB achieve their growth aspirations.
“We have recently launched our new Prospector version 9 which provides our users base with a number of important enhancements to the sourcing system which have been very well received.
“Over the years we have worked closely with MAB and are very happy to be supporting them and their members over the coming years. We’re looking forward to developing our long and productive working partnership with the MAB further as it continues to build on its success.”
Last August Mortgage Introducer discovered MAB was in discussions with sourcing providers as part of a review including Client Data Systems and a deal was thought to have already been on the table.
A spokesman for CDS said: “It's obviously disappointing that the MAB discussions didn't come to fruition but that’s the nature of the market and we wish them well.
“We fully understand the pressures there is on budgets but we also have no doubt that the price of our system accurately reflects the value that it provides. I suspect that deep discounting is perhaps a route for providers with less confidence in their product."
