Clarion Events, organisers of the Expo, have promised delegates access to a wide variety of information and exhibitors to help intermediaries develop and grow their businesses at a particularly difficult time for the mortgage market.
This year’s Manchester Expo offers delegates access to a variety of seminar presentations at three theatres: the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI) Seminar Theatre; the Council of Mortgage Lenders (CML) Theatre; and the Commercial Property Finance Theatre, in association with the National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (NACF).
All theatres feature a range of expert speakers on subjects such as: the workings of the secondary funding market, regulation and TCF, credit and risk issues, sub-prime lending, bridging finance, and specialist commercial funding. Seminar sessions at Manchester Expo are accredited for Continuous Professional Development (CPD) by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).
Running alongside the three seminar theatres is the International Property Investment (IPI) with exhibitors offering advisers information for those clients looking at overseas opportunities. Throughout Expo there will also be a host of exhibitors including a large number of the UK’s leading mortgage lenders, providers, networks, packagers, clubs, sourcing systems, and technology companies.
The FSA will also be in attendance with offering its own Advice Clinic where delegates can find a host of information to ensure ongoing compliance and help meet their regulatory responsibilities. FSA staff will be on hand to discuss a variety of issues including the Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) initiative and matters such as the RMAR, senior management responsibilities and T&C.
