He will lead the mortgage and savings product and proposition teams
Market Harborough Building Society has appointed Andy Taylor (pictured) as its head of strategic planning and customer proposition, a newly created role aimed at supporting the mutual’s growth plans and drive to become the specialist lender of choice for brokers.
Taylor, who has over 20 years of experience in financial services, will lead the mortgage and savings product and proposition teams, identifying market opportunities and developing new products and initiatives to meet customer needs.
Previously, Taylor held senior roles at Nottingham Building Society, with considerable experience in propositions, analytics, and research.
“Andy has a proven track record of using data and analytics to inform actionable strategies for product and proposition development,” said Iain Kirkpatrick, chief executive of Market Harborough Building Society. “His skills and expertise will be a welcome addition to our team as we continue to innovate and grow whilst keeping brokers and customers central to our plans.”
Commenting on his appointment, Taylor expressed excitement joining the organisation, citing its “big plans and bold aspirations.”
“Market Harborough Building Society is enjoying phenomenal success,” he said. “As a lender, the society is committed to acting on broker feedback and doing what’s right for both them and their clients. I’m looking forward to helping the team develop an even deeper understanding of this and the opportunities that lie ahead.”
