The announcement follows news that the National Land Information Service (NLIS) will reduce its local authority combined LLC1 and CON29R service provider charge to NLIS channels from 1st October 2009.
Since April this year local authorities have used cost based charging for official search information. The average cost of official local authority searches has been reduced to around £110, with some boroughs having reduced their fees by nearly 50%. By reducing its own fees by 33%, MDA SearchFlow is determined to provide its clients with value for money throughout the entire residential conveyancing process.
"We are working in close partnership with the NLIS and local authorities to provide official searches that include the best customer support, the fastest turnaround times, the highest quality, and the greatest value for money," says David Kempster, marketing director, MDA SearchFlow.
NLIS is a reliable, secure and easy to use service that allows conveyancers to request and receive local land and property searches electronically via an NLIS channel. NLIS is widely regarded as the fastest and most secure way to get full local authority search information, as it is fully connected nationwide, and supported by high quality customer service.
