Brindley will be responsible for leading and managing store growth as Metro Bank grows from 10 to 20 stores by the end of 2012.
He will report directly to Craig Donaldson, chief executive at Metro Bank.
Brindley joins after 20 years within the RBS Group in sales and customer services roles where he ultimately held the position of managing director for NatWest’s north region.
