The bank has hired Claire Askham from Legal & General Mortgage Club, Harsha Dahyea from The State Bank of India and Dominic Sheahan from Commercial First.
Askham will take responsibility for the North of England, Dahyea will oversee operations in the Midlands and Sheahan will manage the intermediary relationships in the South West.
Charles Morley, head of mortgage distribution at Metro Bank, said: “I am delighted to be welcoming three very experienced and passionate individuals to our rapidly growing team.
“Together, they will play a pivotal role in driving forward our intermediary growth plans across England and Wales.
“The move to appoint regionally-based BDMs comes as a direct response to feedback we’ve received from intermediaries as part of our ongoing conversations to ensure we’re meeting the needs of the industry.
“The appointments of Claire, Harsha and Dominic will help us to better understand and respond to the needs of intermediaries and customers up and down the country and we’re confident this will be a positive development for both our partners and customers.”
Last year Metro Bank doubled its mortgage lending, while the bank said it expected to become one of the top 10 lenders in the UK within the next few years.
