The roadshows, in association with The Mortgage Times Group and sponsored by db mortgages, will cover a number of topics, including sourcing systems, their relevance and future in the non-conforming market; the evolution of lenders in the sector; a breakdown of lender criteria; and the effect of down valuations on the market.
The forums will take place on Tuesday, 4 September at The Millennium Stadium in Cardiff; Tuesday, 2 October at The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester; and Wednesday, 17 October at The Royal College of Physicians in London.
Payam Azadi, head of marketing at The Mortgage Times Group, said: “Sub-prime is a key growth area of the market but also a highly specialised one. As we’ve seen from recent Financial Services Authority involvement, it is critical that advisers are up to speed with the latest regulatory developments and ensure that they are treating customers fairly. These forums provide the perfect opportunity for brokers to learn more about the sector, while considering the latest technological developments.”
Bill Dudgeon, managing director of db mortgages, said, “We are delighted to be participating in the forums. The aim of furthering education within the industry is one we stand behind. The delegates attending are an integral market for us and the opportunity to speak to them directly is invaluable.”
