Over 4,000 advisers are expected to attend a full day business development seminar at 20 venues across the UK from from Carnoustie in Scotland to Exeter in the South of England.
The Roadshows will include discussions on topics ranging from business development to tax planning and technology ideas. This will include demonstrations of the Misys "mi-solution" desktop software.
Andrew Bedford, director of marketing at Misys IFA Services, said: "Continuing the ‘Best Practice, Better Business’ theme, the May series of roadshows will provide IFA's with practical ideas on how they can develop their business within a smart compliance advice process. The compliance messages will focus on needs analysis and the new suitability letter reports, and in particular how they are to be used in practice. Our networks will supply comprehensive support material through their network websites linking to the MIFAS ‘mi-learning’ e-learning portal to help IFAs prepare for the event. When at the Roadshows we will use our electronic keypad system to provide real-time feedback during the day for providers and IFAs on key issues and training areas. We are looking forward to completing the Roadshow programme in September 2002 with Standard Life, Clerical Medical, Skandia Life and Scottish Mutual. As a leading supplier of services to IFAs in the UK our aim is to provide the best support available to members of our four networks."
