This month (June), mortgage advisers registered with the Mortgage Code Compliance Board (MCCB) will be eligible to join the Club, originally created by Misys for members of its five IFA networks.
Platinum Club members have exclusive access to Mortgage Code support material, competitive procuration fees and mortgage sourcing software from £10 a month. They also have direct access to lenders, buildings and contents insurance, plus marketing support that includes sample mail shots and advertisements.
Announcing the move, Andy Young, Head of Misys Mortgage Services, says: “By extending Platinum Club membership to MCCB-registered MRS customers, we are giving access to an unrivalled range of services that delivers genuine business–growth opportunities.
“This move builds on our declared intention to deliver a mortgage-only network later in the year, by providing a complete mortgage service for mortgage advisers and IFAs that wish to be directly authorised.
“Mortgage advisers joining the Club through MRS gain clear business advantages, including the benefit of our collective buying power, the fact that mortgages may be placed with any UK lender and access to 65 mortgage marketing workshops that we run across the UK each year,” adds Andy Young.
The monthly Platinum Club fee is £75 plus VAT per adviser joining through MRS. This figure reduces on a sliding scale depending on the number of advisers per firm joining the Club.
MRS offers services and support to assist directly regulated financial advisers through the complex and time-consuming areas of regulation and legislation.
