Money Partners was previously an associate member of the CML.
Colin Sanders, Money Partners’ ceo, said: “As we approach the first anniversary of our launch, I’m delighted Money Partners has achieved full membership of these two highly regarded trade organisations. Given the increasingly complex environment in which we now operate, effective trade representation at the highest levels of government, parliament, media and the regulatory authorities has never been so important. The CML and IMLA have proven track records in this regard, and we look forward to lending our voice as an active and energetic member.”
Michael Coogan, director general of the CML added: “It is always a pleasure to welcome new members, and my team and I look forward to working closely with Colin and his colleagues. We place great value on our positive relationship with the collective membership, and rely upon its enthusiastic participation and co-operation to help us serve its needs. I have little doubt that Money Partners will play a full role in this regard.”
Tim Dawson, chairman of IMLA, said: “Money Partners is a welcome addition to the membership of IMLA. IMLA represents lenders operating in the intermediary mortgage market. We represent our members’ interests to ensure their views are clearly heard, particularly in the area of the ever-changing regulatory environment. “
