Nick Phelan has been appointed as Head of Business Recruitment, John Brennen is the new Northern Area Manager, Donna Brenchley is the Head of E-Commerce while Gill Bloomfield is the Head of the Telephone Advice Centre. All the positions are new, with the exception of the Head of the Telephone Advice Centre.
Nick Phelan, Head of Business Recruitment, commented: “The opportunities this year for Mortgage Advice Bureau are tremendous. In my role I am involved 100% in the development of the recruitment process, and I aim to attract up to 40 new franchises in the coming year.” Nick Phelan, 40, has worked in recruitment for the past 9 years and lives in Leicestershire with his wife and two sons.
John Brennen, the new Regional Sales manager, was a formerly at Countrywide Assured and was impressed by Mortgage Advice Bureau’s business model: “A key aspect of my role is building relationships with proprietors, winning new business and retaining our existing clients. Mortgage Advice Bureau is a growing business that understands the importance of good client relationships, both within the company itself and among the franchisees. I am looking forward to taking on the added responsibility of this diverse role.” John Brennen, 37, lives in Manchester with his fiancée and daughter.
Donna Brenchley, the new Head of E-Commerce and previously with Legal & General, commented: “I will be responsible for Mortgage Advice Bureau’s IT systems from a technical and sales point of view. My aim is to make the system as user friendly as possible for both consumers and the sales force. I am looking forward to making a noticeable difference maximising profits and streamlining the system.” Donna Brenchley is 37 and lives in Surrey with her husband and her one year-old son.
Gill Broomfield, the new Head of the Telephone Advice Centre and formerly an Area Product Manager for Halifax Plc Estate Agents, commented: “I decided to join Mortgage Advice Bureau as I was impressed by the progressive nature of its ideas and the commitment it had to customer care. I aim to add value by providing excellent customer care and keeping the service as quick, efficient and simple for the customer as possible.” Gill Broomfield lives in Ashby de la Zouch with her family.
