Launched in 1986 to provide mortgage intermediaries with a simple way to source and illustrate mortgage products available in the market, the company has grown to become the most widely used technology solutions provider and was responsible for the development of the first true electronic mortgage trading platform, the mte.
To mark its coming of age, Mortgage Brain is hosting a Birthday Party at The Brewery in Chiswell Street, London on Wednesday 17th October, 2007. Designed as a fundraising event, which will see all proceeds being donated to KidsOut and St Paul’s Hostel for the Homeless charities, the Birthday bash is tipped to be a fun, friendly and informal affair, featuring a Champagne reception, a gourmet meal, a celebrity legend speaker, a Money Can’t Buy auction and a live band.
Mark Lofthouse, Mortgage Brain’s CEO, said: “Mortgage Brain has always played an active and increasingly important role within the industry since its inception in 1986. Reaching the tender age of 21 therefore seemed the perfect excuse to celebrate the occasion, whilst at the same time raising much needed funds for two important charities.
“We’re making sure that this event is going to be fun and informal. Unlike the majority of the events our industry is blessed with, there won’t be any long drawn out speeches or lengthy award presentations. Instead, we’re simply going to have a relaxed, informal and friendly do.”
To help support these two worthy causes, Mortgage Brain is looking for companies to reserve a table (minimum donation of £2,000), to become an associate event sponsor or to donate prizes for the Auctions at the event. Contact 0845 4349719 or email [email protected] to pledge your support. All monies raised will be split between KidsOut and St Paul’s Hostel.
