Pierson previously headed the new homes operation at Linear Financial Solutions and brings 15 years of new build experience to Mortgage Bureau.
Her new role will see her working with a wide range of developers, many who are among the 900+ planning to offer Help to Buy equity loans.
Mortgage Bureau has experienced rapid growth in 2013 and increased its headcount by 64% since joining MAB’s New Homes Network back in January.
Having appointed its first national sales manager – Lisa Burns-Kent – at the start of the year, Mortgage Bureau has now added Pierson to work alongside a growing national team of advisers which makes it one of MAB’s largest Appointed Representative firms.
Mark Clouston, director at Mortgage Bureau, said: “Help to Buy has given the new homes industry a huge shot in the arm and we have responded to the increase in consumer demand by recruiting and training new advisers.
“At the same time we need to ensure our customer service remains at the highest possible level.
“Having someone with Helen’s experience on board will allow us to improve on the existing service we offer to our builder partners.
“She comes highly recommended with an impressive reputation, and we see her and Lisa as a team that is capable of delivering an unrivalled account management service to developers.”
Pierson said: “I’m excited to work under the Mortgage Bureau banner as it has a first class reputation and the resources to back up its service proposition.
“New build is leading the resurgence of the mortgage market and Mortgage Bureau is the major force in the sector.
“Having encountered them repeatedly during my career, I took the view that if you can’t beat them, join them!”
Andy Frankish, new homes director at MAB, added: “Mortgage Bureau is going from strength to strength and continues to invest in its service and infrastructure.
“The business is setting new standards for brokers who specialise in new homes, at a time when the Help to Buy equity loan scheme has made new properties affordable to thousands of people at very competitive rates.
“Helen’s expertise in this area will put Mortgage Bureau in a strong position to help more people take advantage of a scheme that has already had the biggest impact of any housing initiative in recent memory.”
