Visitors are urged to register in advance
Mortgage Business Expo (MBE), one of the mortgage industry’s premier intermediary events, has announced that Kate Davies (pictured), executive director of the Intermediary Mortgage Lenders Association, will be the keynote speaker at this year’s MBE Manchester.
Davies started her career in local government, and then worked at the Council of Mortgage Lenders as senior policy adviser and its specialist on mortgage regulation. She also served for six years as a non-executive director at Darlington Building Society, and succeeded Peter Williams as IMLA’s executive director in 2018.
MBE Manchester will once again take place at Manchester Central, the northern venue for MBE, on March 21, 2023. In addition, the FIBA Annual Conference will be taking place as an integral part of the wider MBE Expo in Manchester.
Rob Barnard, director of intermediary relationships at Pepper Money, will deliver the opening remarks and the seminar program will begin at 10:15am.
The sessions include social media strategy, equity release panel debate, writing for social media, specialist finance debate, buy-to-let panel debate, digital marketing strategy, Consumer Duty panel debate, and marketing for 2023.
MBE said the seminar places are on a first come basis, and visitors should register in advance to be able to attend.
“We’re very pleased to announce our diverse and comprehensive seminar programme as well as unveiling Kate Davies as our keynote speaker,” Mike Mikunda, event director of the Mortgage Business Expo, said.
“We’re looking forward to offering visitors a strong range of lenders and service companies to meet at MBE Manchester. As well as attending seminars and engaging with the wide range of exhibitors, visitors can also earn CPD hours toward the CII/Personal Finance Society member CPD scheme.”
