In the first half of 2006, Mortgage Force has delivered a 30 per cent increase in the number of franchised outlets. This growth should be seen in the context that most brokers and networks report increasing difficulty in recruiting mortgage consultants due to stiff inter-firm competition, regulatory pressures and spiralling selection, recruitment and training costs.
Rob Clifford, chief executive of Mortgage Force, said: “We are delighted to have achieved such extraordinary growth and to see so many new talented franchisees joining our family. Once again Mortgage Force has overcome the challenges facing many firms in our increasingly competitive sector to achieve the latest phase of our aggressive growth strategy.”
This major distribution growth follows a national recruitment campaign which has incorporated advertising within publications such as the Mail on Sunday. Mortgage Force has called upon major unique selling points such as its West Bromwich Building Society parentage, reputation, status and proven track record for enabling brokers to set up their own business.
Nic Lewis, sales director at Mortgage Force, said: “Our monthly induction courses are now typically full and booking well ahead. Only this month, we welcomed new franchise owners operating Mortgage Force outlets in Birmingham, Preston, Bradford, Northolt, Liverpool, Southend on Sea, Southall and Norwich.”
