The series will feature presentations from lenders on the future direction of the mortgage market and a speech from Chris Cummings, director-general of the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI), on what advisers in the market can expect from future regulation.
Intermediaries will also have the opportunity to join sessions with other brokers and industry figures to discuss topics in-depth.
Martin Maynard, managing director at Mortgage Next Partners, said: “Feedback from brokers indicates they are keen to find ways to maximise their income earning capability during the year ahead. That is precisely what these seminars have been designed to do. The day will arm intermediaries with practical advice, hints and tips as well as increase their knowledge about regulatory issues and inform them about future developments in the mortgage market.”
The first of six events will take place at Effingham Park at Gatwick on 26 September, with events also scheduled for Birmingham, Bristol, Luton, Manchester and Leeds.
Mortgage Next will also be promoting its Passport system, which offers brokers deals on products as well as AirMiles and free Mortgage Brain and Trigold subscriptions.
Brokers who attend the sessions will also receive a continuous professional development (CPD) certificate to show their participation in the session

Tony Catt, a sole broker, said: “These sessions can be quite useful as it is interesting to get the views of someone like Chris Cummings, who can give an overview of what is going on in the whole market. Meeting other brokers can also be useful as you can swap little snippets of information, such as how to deal with a difficult case.”
